The Europe Plant-based Food market is experiencing growth due to several key factors. The increase in consumption is primarily linked to population growth and increased wealth. Animal proteins, sourced from animals like eggs, milk, meat, and fish, are often considered superior because they provide sufficient essential amino acids, while plant-based proteins may lack some amino acids. European diets presently rely heavily on animal protein, with roughly two-thirds of dietary protein coming from animal sources, as per the European Environment Agency's 2020 report
