Dell Technologies has unveiled Dell PowerVault ME5, a collection of three new entry-level storage solutions designed and optimised for SAN and DAS applications. The storage solution is designed to solve a wide range of small-to-medium-sized company (SMB) concerns, such as keeping up with data expansion, enhancing operational simplicity, enabling newer and higher-value applications, and delivering business outcomes much quicker. PowerVault ME5 does this using a contemporary software design that provides double the performance, throughput, capacity, and memory of its predecessor, PowerVault ME4.
