The octopus is an invertebrate animal, which means it has no single bones in their body. It also lies in a sub-species of mollusks called the cephalopods which means from “head to foot” and is used as the name because of an octopus because “feet” are attached to its head. It can only be found in salty water mostly on a beach or sea, but they live in all the oceans too. The octopuses which live in warm waters tend to be small then who live in cold water. The ones that live in colder waters are much larger compared to the octopus who lives in warm water. It only consists of a life span of 1 to 2 years and not more than that. There are about 300 known species of octopus in the worldwide.

According to the MHD's press release, other symptoms they're warning their residents about is include fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, and diarrhea.
