BIM Level2

BIM in Housing is a collaboration between owners/developers and members of their supply chains to reduce risks through better asset information throughout the Bim Level 2 process.

BIM in Housing is working to identify what information is required, by whom, how it will be used and why it is important- so increasing BIM levels of detail. This will allow us to prioritise what is really important, removing the risk of information overload.

These are compiled as reusable libraries clients, their consultants and supply chain members can use to standardise, and therefore automate, the processes.

ActivePlan simplifies the delivery of BIM Level 2 by providing applications and data libraries that automate many of the tasks that suck up BIM teams’ time with non-added value work.

These applications help specify the information asset teams need, provide tools to help designers and contractors provide it, validate submissions, create a coordinated COBie data model and populate to any FM applications. This also increases BIM levels of detail. The result is a Digital O&M that is easily kept up to date and coordinated with other asset management applications.
